Denver Injury Attorney Tom Metier Recognized by National Board of Civil Pretrial Practice Advocacy

(USGovernment-News.Com, September 07, 2012 ) Fort Collins, Colorado – Denver injury lawyer Tom Metier, lead attorney for Metier Law Firm, LLC, was recently board certified in Civil Pretrial Practice by the National Board of Civil Pretrial Practice Advocacy.

The National Board of Civil Pretrial Practice Advocacy is a branch of The National Board of Legal Specialty Certification (NBLSC), a prestigious organization that recognizes legal achievement in various practice areas, including family law, criminal law and Social Security Disability law. According to the board, attorneys must have “significant litigation experience and skill at settling cases before a trial” to become certified. Qualified attorneys must also meet educational standards, demonstrate their involvement in civil law, pass an exam and present recommendations from their peers. The NBLSC is accredited by the American Bar Association.

“I am very honored to receive this distinction,” Tom Metier said. “This certification places me in fine company, including some of the most dedicated and passionate attorneys in the country. I thank everyone who helped me along the way, including my colleagues who recommended me for this certification. I only hope that it allows me to help more people who have been injured by negligence, wrongdoing and injustice.”

A certification in Civil Pretrial Practice acknowledges exceptional skill in the beginning stages of the legal process, including pretrial motions, hearings, mediation and dispute resolution procedures.

This is the latest of several legal achievements for Metier. He has been ranked as a Super Lawyer every year since 2006, and he has an AV Preeminent Rating on Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating a lawyer can receive. He is a member of many legal organizations, including the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Larimer County Bar Association, Warriors for Justice, Coloradoans for Civil Justice and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He focuses his practice on injury cases, including car accidents, motorcycle accidents and traumatic brain injuries.
