Thanks to Louisiana’s 232-HELP/211 system, those in need are able to obtain information on various services quickly and easily, just by making a phone call. 2-1-1 provides information to individuals, families and government agencies.
Below is a list of services about which information is provided:

• Affordable housing
• Health resources
• Child care
• After-school programs
• Elderly care
• Financial literacy
• Job training programs
The hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm. 2-1-1 also has a 24 hour on-call service center. They are located at 1005 Jefferson Street in Lafayette Louisiana. In addition to providing information and referrals, 232-HELP/211 also offers various in-house programs, as well as maintains a resource library with videos, brochures and many publications.
