(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 16, 2012 ) Indianapolis, Ind. -- Indianapolis brain injury attorneys Thomas Doehrman and Daniel Chamberlain, partners at the law firm of Doehrman Chamberlain, will be serving as “celebrity chefs” during the Brain Injury Association of Indiana’s (BIAI) Brain Injury Global Picnic at Eagle Creek Park on Saturday, June 30, 2012. The event will be from 1:00-4:00 p.m., and organizers are hoping that the global event will set a world record for the most people picnicking in 24 hours around the world for brain injury awareness.
Founded in 1981, the BIAI is the first charter chapter of the national Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA). The BIAI is a nonprofit service organization dedicated to preventing and reducing the incidence and impact of brain injury through public awareness, education and legislation.
“We are proud to have the opportunity to participate in what we hope will be a record-setting event,” Tom Doehrman said. “Both Dan and myself are looking forward to preparing food for such a good cause.”
For decades, the Indianapolis brain injury lawyers at Doehrman Chamberlain has committed themselves to assisting those who suffer traumatic brain injuries. Tom Doehrman and Dan Chamberlain have been proud sponsors of the BIAI for more than 30 years. Tom Doehrman served as BIAI chairman from 2000 to 2001 and currently serves on the organization’s Emeritus Board, while Dan Chamberlain is currently an officer for the BIAI as well as Vice Chairman on the Board for the BIAA. Through their legal work and their work with the BIAI and the BIAA, the attorneys at Doehrman Chamberlain hope to provide justice for brain injury victims and get them the help they need to maintain some quality of life.
“I want to thank the BIAI for asking Tom and me to participate in this function,” Chamberlain said. “Hopefully, the significant turnout can ensure that at least a few people are satisfied with our cooking skills.”
