(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 05, 2012 ) Washington, D.C. - Washington D.C. bankruptcy attorney Kevin D. Judd was recognized for his service on the Advisory Committee on Local Bankruptcy Rules for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia during a reception at the federal courthouse on April 12, 2012. The Honorable S. Martin Teel, a presiding bankruptcy judge for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia, formally recognized Judd at the reception.
I feel extraordinarily grateful to have been given the opportunity to serve on such a distinguished committee that serves such an important function in this community, Judd said. In addition to his service on the Advisory Committee, Judd is also a past Chairman of the Bankruptcy Law Section for the National Bar Association as well as a past President for both the District of Columbia Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and the Washington Bar Association.
