(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 28, 2012 ) Middlesex County, NJ -- Personal injury attorney Ronald Spevack is sponsoring the NAACP’s 34th annual Freedom Fund Awards Banquet on April 27, 2012, a night celebrating the organization’s achievements and honoring its top contributors. Attorney David Spevack, Ronald’s son, has been a member of the NAACP’s scholarship committee since 2008.
This formal gathering of the NAACP’s Perth Amboy Area Branch will honor three individuals with the “Lifetime Commitment to Youth Development Award” and will also feature a keynote speaker and bring together NAACP members and supporters from the surrounding area.
“I am proud to have been a member of the NAACP Perth Amboy Area Branch for 50 years," said Ronald Spevack. “I served on the Scholarship Committee for much of that time and now my son David Spevack continues the tradition by serving on the committee.”
Middlesex County, NJ - Ronald Spevack is the senior partner at the Spevack Law Firm and has been a practicing trial lawyer for over 40 years. Since his first case in 1965, he has tried over 500 cases and extensive medical experience studying traumatic brain injuries. He served as president of the Middlesex County Trial Lawyers Association and has provided pro bono legal counsel to the local NAACP branch for over 40 years. The Perth Amboy branch of the NAACP inducted Ronald Spevack into its Heritage Hall of Fame in 2008, in recognition of a lifetime of serving others and a commitment to civil rights.
David Spevack is a trial attorney with the Spevack Law firm, specializing in litigation, employment law and workers compensation. He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York and the United States District Court. As part of the scholarship committee, he will help the NAACP select local high school seniors to send to college or university.
