DANIEL S. CHAMBERLAIN RECEIVES TOP HONOR BY THE NATIONAL BRAIN INJURY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA

Indianapolis, Indiana - Indiana and North Carolina injury lawyer Daniel S. Chamberlain, a founding partner of Indianapolis law firm Doehrman Chamberlain, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Brain Injury Association of America (BIA).

Based out of Washington, D.C., BIA is the leading voice for brain injury awareness throughout the nation, whose stated mission is to increase access to quality health care and to raise understanding of brain injury through advocacy, education and research. Dr. Greg J. OÂ’Shanick, the President of the Center for Neurorehabilitation Services in Richmond, nominated Mr. Chamberlain for his ongoing efforts in championing patient protection issues in the Indiana State Legislature, and for his continued work with the Brain Injury Association of Indiana to procure funding and research grants.

Mr. Chamberlain expressed gratitude for his appointment, and looks forward to expanding his influence to improve the lives of those affected. “Traumatic brain injury is a misunderstood disease, partially due to the fact that it affects every individual in a completely different way," he said. "Most people do not realize that there are 10,000 new brain injury survivors in Indiana and five million nationwide every year, which includes approximately 200,000 military personnel. March is Brain Injury Awareness Month and as Vice Chairman of BIA, one of my top priorities will be to positively influence national and state legislative policy in favor of TBI survivors and their families.”

Doehrman Chamberlain holds a strong reputation in Indiana and nationwide as a top personal injury and wrongful death law firm, specializing in brain injury law and securing the financial future of those affected. The firm prioritizes community activism and works closely with the Brain Injury Association of Indiana, serving as one of its corporate sponsors and as members of its board of directors.

A South Bend native, Mr. Chamberlain is a Board certified injury lawyer and a heavily sought-after speaker on brain injury litigation. A proud alumnus of Ball State University and Indiana University, Mr. Chamberlain was recently named a Top 50 Indiana Lawyer.
