MI Windows Class Action Lawsuit Claims Single Hung Windows are Defective

(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 20, 2012 ) New York, NY – A MI Windows class action lawsuit is claiming 8500/4300/3500 single hung windows manufactured by MI Windows and Doors, Inc. are defective and may allow water to invade the windows, structures and home. The MI Class action lawsuit was filed in New York, but Class Action.org is looking to hear from consumers in any state to help determine if they also have legal recourse to seek compensation for property damage and other losses. If you have experienced water leakage problems with these windows, find out if you are eligible for an MI Windows class action lawsuit by visiting http://www.classaction.org/mi-windows-and-doors-single-hung-windows.html and completing the free, no obligation case review form.

The plaintiff in the MI Windows class action lawsuit claims that his windows suffered a loss of seal at the base along the bottom of the double pane glass. The windows allegedly began to develop mold and mineral deposits which compromised the structural integrity of the windows and seal. As a result, the MI Windows lawsuit claims, water began to leak into his home, damaging property within the house. When he tried to contact the company about his MI Windows complaints, he was informed he was not covered by the warranty, as he was not the original owner of the property, alleges the MI Windows class action lawsuit.

The MI class action lawsuit claims that the plaintiffÂ’s problems with the windows stemmed from a design defect which results in the loss of seal. It has been alleged that property owners who experienced similar problems with the 8500/4300/3500 single hung windows will incur substantial costs to have the windows replaced and to repair or replace property inside the home which was damaged when water leaked through the windows. The MI Windows lawsuit also presented the question of whether properties outfitted with the windows will decrease in value because of the alleged defect. In light of these claims, Class Action.org is offering a free online case review to consumers who own a property outfitted with the 8500/4300/3500 single hung windows to help determine if they have legal recourse. Potentially, these individuals may be able to participate in a MI Windows class action to seek compensation for property damage and other losses.
