Picking up where season 7 ended, Quinn and Clay both fight for their lives, Brooke loses her fashion label but finds love, and Haley is expecting her second child. The season premiered on September 14, 2010 airing in its new time slot on Tuesdays. It started off with thirteen episodes which did pretty well in in the ratings. This led the network to order nine more episodes making the total episode count to twenty two for the entire season.
