(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 10, 2011 ) CHICAGO -- Eved was selected a top 10 Up-and-Comer finalist at the 2011 Chicago Innovation Awards. This honor is given to innovators and entrepreneurs that are in an early stage of growth, yet demonstrate significant potential. Talia Mashiach, CEO and Founder of Eved, received the award at the Chicago Innovation Awards celebration at Harris Theater.
The top 10 Up-and-Comer finalists will be given the opportunity to participate in the Chicago Innovation Awards Venture Capital Pitch Day to a room full of investors looking to invest in ChicagoÂ’s most promising new start-ups.
Eved was also named one of the top 75 nominees for the 2011 Chicago Innovation Awards. The Chicago Innovation Awards, celebrating its 10th year, is the Chicago regionÂ’s foremost recognition of the most innovative new products or services brought to market or to public service each year. There were more than 400 nominees for the 2011 Chicago Innovation Awards, representing an increase of more than 60 percent over the past two years.
