Arab African Council Hosts Delegation from Mozambique VIPs in Cairo

The Arab African Council for Socioeconomic Development Hosted Mozambique leaders from PIMO and notable personalities in Cairo for Peace and Commercial talks related to the Commercial and Humanitarian Committees projects for Mozambique.



Dr. Mohamed Zayed Chairman and Dr Ibrahim El Nattar Deputy Secretary General of the Council expressed extreme satisfaction with the results of the 10 day meetings with delegates and notable personalities from around the world.



Mr. Benjamin Ballout Chairman of Diplomatic Trade LLC and Enerkon Solar International Inc.(USA/Turkey), agreed to undertake a 500 MW Solar Project in the Gaza Province of Mozambique (USD$600 Million) and the council commercial committee members also introduced Freeman Holdings LLC (USA)as having agreed to undertake the Management (30 years) of the Nacala International Airport in Mozambique ($250 Million USD).



The Peace and Humanitarian Committee members accepted the idea of Hosting an international Peace and Reconciliation Conference between FERLIMO (Governing Party) and RENAMO (opposition Party) with the aim to finalize peace talks with GCC member state observers and regional personalities as oppose to the last efforts promoted by western entities.



Sheik Yaqob Sibindy President of PIMO and Project New Mozambique quoted "Our Hope is for a historic 'Cairo Declaration' on peace and unity government for Mozambique " with a road map that will offer all sides the incentive to sign the peace accord for the benefit of Mozambique and its future.



Several countries were considered, and it was preferred to select as Egypt is considered the natural leader in the region for Peace and Reconciliation support, both in Africa and the Arab World and the seat of the Arab League.



The Establishment of BDF Bank (Maputo) was also formalized with participation and support from the AACSED Economic Committee as lobby.



In closing the meetings Dr Mohamed Zayed, PhD Chairman of AACSED Stated that "We appreciate the Delegation from Mozambique and look forward to supporting the initiatives taken during the meetings this last period in particular the Peace Conference once approved by authorities and the Sponsoring of the next International Islamic Banking Conference in Maputo next year"
