While construction, lots of dust are produced which stick to the nest and the upper part of the egg layer. These dust are harmful to the baby Eagle. Due to the vibration produced by the heavy machines, it affects the tree also, and it makes it weak to stand. In last few month Construction near the Arkansas River in Sand Springs destroyed four nests, killing seven baby eagles in the process. Losing those birds is very dangerous for Bald Eagle species.
Bald Eagle is not just a bird for the Americans. It is the Symbolic icon of our nation which represent the unity and freedom of our country people. So as an American it is our duty to protect the National Heritage of our Nation. For this, we have to come together and wake up the Americans to protect Bald Eagle.
