At the time DDT was used to protect the plant from insects. But small animals who eat these plants are eaten by Eagle. Which affects the Eagle as well as their egg also. Due to which US government banned the use of DDT. After that Bald Eagle growth rate increase due to which in 2007 it is again removed from the list of endangered species. In the last few years population of Bald Eagle decreases due to several regions.
Bald Eagle is of great importance to Natives, American tribes and a symbol of warriors (soldiers) living and deceased. People respect Bald Eagle because of it the symbol of our country which represents unity and freedom of the people of America. So it is a national duty to protect the Bald Eagle and request the government to again mention it in the list of wildlife security. That will help our National Heritage to keep safe.
