(USGovernment-News.Com, October 26, 2016 ) Canal st, NY-- For many decades, bald eagles were ruthlessly hunted down either for sport or for protecting the fishing grounds. A time also arrived when pesticides and insecticides sprayed over the plants wreaked a havoc over the majestic species. As these chemicals flowed along with rainwater polluting the water bodies and eventually collect in the fishes, which is a primary diet for eagles.
These had several adverse effects upon the innocent birds weakening their egg cells and hampering their reproductive procedures significantly. However, laws were being introduced back in 1972 prohibiting the supererogatory usage of pesticides. This was certainly an act of valor as it resulted in the increment of the population of bald eagles eventually leading to the removal of bald eagles from the list of endangered species.
But with changing times greed has been triumphing over humanity. People are keeping themselves above all living beings, hesitating not one bit, even while damaging their natural habitat. On such natural settlement of the bald eagles in the Deer Park, only 42 miles away from New York is about to get devastated. The real estate is keen on developing the Dragon Spring Temple, which is bound to harm the natural habitat of bald eagles. Are the national citizens going to do nothing while the nests of their national bird get sabotaged? Thus, sign the petition to transmit all the voices onto the eardrums of those back in the White House. Be noble, be benevolent and save bald eagles.
