Save the Bald Eagles: The NationÂ’s Pride

(USGovernment-News.Com, October 26, 2016 ) Canal st, NY-- In the year 1782, the great Bald Eagle was adopted as the national bird of America followed by the declaration of that year as the Bicentennial Year For Eagles. These prodigious bald eagles have an average lifespan of around 40 years (in wild). A fully grown up can have a wingspan up to 7 feet and can fly at a speed of 30 miles per hour.

Eagles mate all round the year and build up a nest, which they keep on using for a long time. The female of an established pair lays 2-3 eggs and the parents guard them with dignity. In that manner, the nest keeps expanding and can be enormous in size. However, in recent times their nests are getting demolished endangering their lives and of those who are yet to see the light.

There is a place named Deer Park around 42 miles away from the New York city where bald eagles have been residing for a long time. This place is even nationally recognized as a habitat for bald eagles. But some real estate business personnel are proposing to construct the Dragon Spring Temple. Without even bothering that the construction will enforce the eagles to shift from their natural habitat. This seems unfair and thus people should protest against such discrepancies. Hereby sign the petition in favor of saving the bald eagles and boost the voice right up to the White House.
