Drug Free Florida's $800,000 Donation Against Medical Marijuana

(USGovernment-News.Com, August 08, 2016 ) Orlando, Fl -- Drug Free Florida received an eight hundred thousand dollar donation from one of the most unexpected donors. In order to put a halt to the medical marijuana ballot administration, the Carol Jenkins Barnett Family trust made a massive contribution to the Drug Free Florida effort that is shown on a recent file discovery.

Carol Jenkins Barnett is the daughter of George Jenkins, the founder of Publix Super Markets. This is not the first time her trust has allocated funds in order to keep Florida clear of legal medicinal ganja. In 2014, she donated $540,000 to the Drug Free Florida Committee.

The medicinal Mary Jane that will be available to a select group of patients will be grown and distributed by an organisation who was licenced by the state's Department of Health in order to cultivate and distribute the drug. This strand of marijuana is reported to be low in THC, the natural ingredient that makes people high, and used to help people who suffer from lethal seizures.

A Representative from Drug Florida Rehab says: " Although the Carol Jenkins Barnett is highly beneficial for keeping Florida away from more drug use but the strand of medical marijuana that will be legalised is one that will help many people who deal with fatal seizures and similar ailments."
