(USGovernment-News.Com, August 06, 2016 ) Murphy, NC -- Lars Prentice Johnson was arrested when police found sixteen thousand dollars worth of drugs in his possession. An inspection conducted by the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, or ARDEO, encountered Johnson at a routine traffic stop performed by the White County Sheriff's Office deputies. A report released by the office says: " Within a concealed container of the vehicle, deputies and agents of the ARDEO discovered more than 1 pound of suspected methamphetamine and a substantial amount of cash." The drugs value is projected to be around $16,000. A Representative from Drug and Alcohol Rehab Charlotte says: " It was a fortunate occurrence that the ARDEO would so happen to have an open investigation while Johnson is fully armed with his narcotic stash. Now that he is off the street, less people's lives will be affected by the drug he was selling."
