Ohio Shoots Down Legalization of Marijuana, Cincinnati Drug Rehab Responds

(USGovernment-News.Com, November 13, 2015 ) Cincinnati, OH -- WHDH 7 News reports that Ohio voters rejected Issue 3 on the state ballot, a proposal which would have legalized both medical and recreational marijuana use in the state. Recreational use would be limited to adults 21 years of age or older and marijuana production would be restricted to private companies, which some deemed a monopoly of the potential marijuana industry.

65 percent of voters in Ohio voted against the legalization of marijuana in Ohio, which enraged some supporters of the medicinal applications of marijuana, which would benefit patients with severe seizure disorders and has the potential to treat certain cancers. As a rehab facility offering drug detox and drug rehab in Cincinnati, Cincinnati Drug Rehab understands the hesitation of voters in legalizing marijuana but recognizes the plight of those hoping for a medical breakthrough.

A representative of Cincinnati Drug Rehab commented:

"As a facility specializing drug rehab in Cincinnati, we understand the fears and reservations the citizens of Ohio. We also understand the frustration of those living in Ohio with diseases and illnesses which would benefit from the legalization of marijuana. Unfortunately for those who fall into that category, fear propagandized by the opposing force and lack of public education about substance abuse lead to decisions made out of reproach rather than research."
