(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 20, 2009 ) Anmore, BC, Canada, March 20, 2009 –On February 19th, Refusetodonothing.com posted a blog regarding “Green” legislation and how it pertains to Heritage Woods Middle School. The Blog’s calculations state The estimated GHG emissions that will be generated by excess travel to and from the proposed school site find that an extra 7.2 km will be traveled by parents and busses on a daily basis resulting in an additional 1 ton of CO2E for every three cars. In terms of busses, the emissions jump to 1.1 tons of additional CO2e per diesel bus. Parents can expect to pay an additional additional $139 in fuel prices per year driving their children to the proposed out of the way site.
