(USGovernment-News.Com, October 17, 2015 ) Newark, NJ -- On October 7th the annual Corporate Run hosted by Integrity House rehabilitation center lead upward of 1,000 people on a 5K course through Newark for the purpose of spreading awareness and ending the stigma. NJ.com reports this year's race was the 25th event and named for the heavy involvement of local businesses. Registration ranged from $22 to $25 per person and benefitted outreach programs and treatment facilities managed by Integrity House. As a center dedicated to addiction treatment in Newark, Drug Rehab Newark fully supports all efforts to break through the stigma of addiction and begin a conversation across the U.S.

"The Corporate Run is a wonderful way to bring awareness to the substance abuse epidemic affecting Newark and all parts of the country. Not only does it promote physical activity and health, but because of the large number of participants and corporate backing, the intended message of public education and understanding for those suffering from substance abuse disorders will reach thousands in our community. The community of Newark suffers under the effects of the addiction epidemic and we must all do our part to alleviate the hardship, which does include education.
