(USGovernment-News.Com, September 21, 2015 ) Orlando, FL -- Orange County recently suffered 11 overdoses from a batch of heroin, three of which lost their lives. In response the Orange County police department has increased their presence among known heroin dens. The overdose victims ranged in age from 20 to 52, according to The Orlando Sentinel. The Police Department issued a public statement warning those frequenting Orange County for illicit activities will be met with heightened police presence. Since 2013 there have been 49 heroin related deaths in Orange County. Fentanyl use in relation to heroin inclusion has become a public concern, amid recent heroin overdoses.
