(USGovernment-News.Com, May 19, 2015 ) ST. GEORGE, UTAH - A rollover car crash that occurred on Saturday has left one St. George man dead and another injured.
Lorenzo Longinos-Perez, 46, and Lazaro Longinos-Perez were driving northbound on state Route 18 when they hit a patch of slush left over from the recent hail storms. Lorenzo, the driver, lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road. The vehicle rolled and came to a rest on its side.
While the men were climbing out of their vehicle, a Cadillac containing a male driver and female passenger also hit the patch of ice and lost control, hitting both Lorenzo and Lazaro.
Lazaro was care-flighted to Dixie Regional Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Lorenzo suffered from a broken leg, a broken pelvis and other injuries and was taken to the same hospital. He is expected to recover.
The driver and passenger of the Cadillac were not injured.
