A dashboard camera video shows the captured event on the 20th of January, showing Dent being thrown into the ground while being beaten by Officer William Melendez during a traffic stop. Melendez believed that Dent had cocaine in the car.

Being arrested and being convicted are two different things, Riskology emphasized.
Lastly, the website warns consumers to speak appropriately, intelligently. "You are never compelled to speak to the police or answer their questions without a lawyer present.”
