(USGovernment-News.Com, April 02, 2015 ) Boise City, ID -- A serious five-car pileup shut down the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 in Caldwell, Idaho yesterday morning.
The crash occurred near exit 27 just before noon.
Investigators of the accident explained that it was initially caused when a man named Andrew Deckard was driving a tow truck and failed to slow down for the traffic ahead. He rear-ended the car full of people in front of him, driven by David Gonzalez. This pushed Gonzalez into the SUV of Anthony Galloway, who was visiting from Alaska.
Upon Deckard’s original collision with Gonzalez, he then over-corrected and went into the right lane, hitting a Peterbilt 18-wheeler as well (driven by Roderick Smith).
Witnessing the accident was Galen Cower, who attempted to avoid becoming involved, but unfortunately was also struck by Deckard’s tow truck.
Luckily, most of the people involved in the pile-up walked away unharmed, apart from property damage. However, police have confirmed that at least three of them were physically hurt.
