Upcoming Book From the Zharmae Combines Two Separate Murder Mysteries

(USGovernment-News.Com, March 30, 2015 ) Spokane, Washington -- This new novel, written by Donald Dewey and published by Zharmae, breaks ground by including two distinct detective stories about New York. While the print edition is soon to be released, the kindle edition is already available from Amazon.

About the Novel

The Fantasy League Murders and the Bolivian Sailor are the two halves of a novel written by Donald Dewey. Evoking the works of Georges Simenon, Dewey intends for these half novels to be the beginning of a larger mystery series, also set on the premise of classic whodunits. Both stories follow Paul Finley, a detective in the New York area, who becomes drawn into murder mysteries.

The Fantasy League Murders: Hired to find a missing teenager, Finley comes up against the powers-that-be on Long Island when the boy is found dead and discovered to have been part of a fantasy baseball league-cum-sex operation in the posh Hamptons. Complicating matters for him personally is his involvement with a beautiful widow whose own secrets may or may not be connected to the death of the teenager.

The Bolivian Sailor: A newly arrived Bolivian seaman is found murdered in a Manhattan roach motel. Ad address book on the body lists three American contacts, one of which is Paul Finley. The trouble is, Finley doesn't know the man or, for that matter, anybody else from Bolivia. The second trouble is, the other two people in the address book are dispatched in quick enough order and an attempt is made on Finley's life. He soon finds himself involved in a plot to assassinate the Bolivian ambassador to the United Nations.
