(USGovernment-News.Com, February 27, 2015 ) Las Vegas, NV -- The Ed Bernstein Show airs every Sunday at 3 p.m. PST on Channel 3 (KNSV-TV).
This week’s guests will be Robin Greenspun, Cari Marshall, and Dana Marshall-Bernstein.
Dana Marshall-Bernstein is an extra special guest of Ed Bernstein’s, as she is his daughter. Their conversation will take place via telephone and will outline Dana’s experience of being the subject of a new documentary film entitled “Semicolon; The Adventures of Ostomy Girl”.
The movie premiered February 23rd at the 2015 Sedona Film Festival. It was directed and produced by Robin Greenspun, with Cari Marshall as the Executive Producer. The film takes viewers through five months of Dana’s lifelong journey with Crohn’s Disease as cameras follow her and her family through the processes of treatment. Eventually, Dana is faced with the biggest decision she has ever had to make. If you think chronic illness is nothing to laugh at, the film introduces you to Dana, diagnosed at age four with Crohn’s disease, her 25 years have been a ceaseless round of surgeries, medication, intravenous feeding and close encounters with death. She tells you this with a grin. Dana is a miraculous example of the power of humor.
A special screening of the film will take place at the Brenden Theatre in the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas on Sunday March 15th, 2015 where funds will be raised for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, as well as The Cleveland Clinic Digestive Disease Institute.
