(USGovernment-News.Com, February 03, 2015 ) Boise City, ID -- Superior Steel Products, located in Boise, Idaho, has been cited after the death of one of their employees. It has been found that his death could have been prevented if the company had enforced safety procedures.
While an improper load was being forklifted nine feet off the ground, a basket fell off and collided with the victim.
O.S.H.A. found that employees of the plant were not fully trained on how to avoid forklift accidents. They have proposed a $38,780.00 fine, not only for this accident, but for other violations that were discovered, such as respiratory danger and fire hazards.

One O.S.H.A. representative, when speaking about the victim’s family, stated, “They lost someone they loved because Superior Steel Products did not ensure basic safety procedures for dangerous heavy equipment."
