(USGovernment-News.Com, December 19, 2014 ) Mukilteo, Washington -- Mukilteo children's dentist Mukilteo Kids Dentistry is an accredited pediatric dentist who offers general, preventative, and restorative dentistry services, such as interceptive orthodontics, to patients living in Mukilteo, Everett, and surrounding areas. Recently, Mukilteo kids dentists, Dr. Paul Kahlon and Dr. Sonu Lamba announced and hosted their first Kids Dentistry Annual Holiday Food Drive.
The first Annual Holiday Food Drive took place from November 1st to November 21st at their Mukilteo and Everett locations. Patients were invited and encouraged to bring healthy, non-perishable food items into the dental practices, regardless of whether an appointment was scheduled or not. By bringing food items in for donation, each entry would garner a ticket for a grand prize stay for four at the Great Wolf Lodge in Centralia, WA. All donations went to benefit the Mukilteo Food Bank.
The Mukilteo Food Bank was founded in 1979 and distributes over $100,000 of donations each year to more than 250 families. Their purpose is to "feed and assist those in need within the Mukilteo School District by supplying food to anyone in time of need, regardless of race, sex, age, national origin, disability, marital status, religion, creed, or sexual orientation." They are an all-volunteer organization.
The first Annual Holiday Food Drive marked a great endeavor for this Mukilteo children's dentist. According to Dr. Lamba, "We wanted to make a mark on our community and donate to those who need it most, especially during the holidays." She added, "A food drive was the best way to reach the patients of both our Everett and Mukilteo locations and provide food to the hungry."
