Libya To Hold Emergency Vote to Replace Prime Minister within Days

(USGovernment-News.Com, February 15, 2014 ) Cyrenaica, Libya -- Libya's Governing National Council (GNC) in a surprise move has organized to vote on a new Prime Minister within days from now and the front runner is a quiet but well known Professor from Bayda, East Libya.

Dr. Joma was a key figure front the first days of the revolution and continues to be a force for peace, unity and suppression of corruption.

Dr. Joma was a key figure behind the initial formation of the NTC (National Transitional Council) and promoted the appointment of key officials who freed Libya from 42 years of suppression and unequal economic distribution.

Dr. Joma is expected to gain a significant number of votes and will more than likely become the next Prime Minister of Libya.

Dr. Joma is also behind the calls for the International Conference on Libya under the banner "Peace, Equality and Unity Governance" to be hosted in Amman, Jordan during Late March, hosted by Jordan's Prince Hassan and the Arab Thought Forum, a Government Think Tank, the conference will also be under the patronage of HRH King Abdullah.

50 key delegates from Libya and more than 100 Dignitaries will be invited to the International Conference as well as all United National Security Council Member States

This, being in contrast to the "Friends of Libya" who plan meetings in Rome next month which will focus only, on security issues.

The Regional, Arab African Council on Socioeconomic Development Chairman Dr. Mohamed Zayed commented in a press conference that:

"We support the early vote in Libya if it will bring stability and unity to the country which has been in disarray for nearly 3 years, since revolution and intervention liberated the country and having the opportunity to follow the wonderful efforts of Dr Joma Ifhema over the years, we find he is a person highly capable to lead, with a true caring heart for his country and people, a statesman who if given a chance, will surely save Libya and make the region proud, we send our blessings and hope for prosperity in Libya"

The Arab African Council for Socioeconomic Development is a Regional Council of Experts and Retired Diplomats Supporting Governments with advice and solutions for complex geopolitical and economic issues and promoting growth and development for the MENA Region.
