(USGovernment-News.Com, February 13, 2014 ) Windsor, ON – Mercedes Lavoy of Greg Monforton & Partners will join members of the Windsor Essex Therapeutic Riding Association (WETRA) on Feb. 15 for the 9th annual Jewels & Jeans Gala at the Ciociaro Club of Windsor.
The gala will include food, drinks, live entertainment and a silent auction to benefit WETRA. Participants of the auction may be eligible to win Red Wings tickets, rounds of golf from Fox Glen and Seven Lakes, spa packages and much more.
The event begins at 5:00 p.m. at 3745 North Talbot Road in Oldcastle, Ontario. Tickets are $75 each and may be purchased online or by calling WETRA at 519-726-7682. Additionally, 100% of proceeds will benefit the therapeutic riding association.
WETRA, formally the Windsor Association of Riding for the Handicapped (W.A.R.H), helps children and adults with special needs receive equine-assisted therapy. The association offers therapeutic riding lessons, life and vocational skills, spring and summer camps and many other forms of therapy. Nearly 200 children and adults struggling with disabilities receive therapy at WETRA each week.
