(USGovernment-News.Com, October 16, 2013 ) EAST HARTFORD, CT — A fatal car accident involving only one vehicle ended in an explosion on Main Street in Windsor the night of Friday, October 11, killing both the driver and passenger.
Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle careen into a parking lot after it jumped a curb, headed into oncoming traffic and hit a tree. The driver was 38-year-old Luis Daniel Rivera, who is survived by two young children.
“[It was traveling] at least 80 or 100 miles an hour, because you could see a streak of light,” said one witness, who went on to describe the vehicle bursting into flames after it crashed in the parking lot.
