(USGovernment-News.Com, October 08, 2013 ) Wellington, FL – The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) in Wellington is offering seniors over the age of 55 a driver safety course. The village will be sponsoring the course on October 17th, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Seniors who are interested in refreshing their driver skills and knowledge can pre-register online, by phone, or in person for the event. The cost for AARP members is $12 and $14 for non-members.
The course will be held at the Wellington Community Center located at 12150 Forest Hill Blvd.
Some of the topics being covered include defensive driving, reducing the risk of blind spots, proper use of new safety technologies used in modern vehicles, and more. Visit www.aarp.org for more information on what the driving course entails.
