(USGovernment-News.Com, September 07, 2013 ) WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- On Thursday evening a Kernersville motorcyclist was killed and the other one was seriously injured in a crash that shut down Business 40 West for multiple hours.
The two women were riding separate Harley-Davidson motorcycles when one of the women was rear-ended by a 2013 Dodge four door car. While the woman of the car did not suffer any injuries, the accident caused one motorcyclist to lose control and hit the other.
This caused one of the motorcyclists to be thrown from her bike and was pronounced dead at the scene. Both westbound lanes were closed for nearly three hours as traffic was detoured onto side roads.
