(USGovernment-News.Com, September 07, 2013 ) TUSLA, OK -- Early Friday morning a man was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver near 48th and Peoria when a driver pulled over to call 9-1-1- when she thought she ran over someone. Further investigations would determine that she was not the first car to hit the victim.
It was reported that minutes before this incident, an 18-year old woman was driving down Peoria as the man walked into a poorly lit area of the roadway. Unfortunately, the woman failed to stay at the scene of the accident and sped home to tell her father what had happened.
At this point, police have not indicated if there will be any charges pressed on the young driver. She was also taken to the hospital to be monitored for panic symptoms, while her name has not been released.
