(USGovernment-News.Com, August 10, 2013 ) GREENVILE, S.C. — A Columbia woman has been identified as the victim of a hit-and-run accident in Columbia, the Coroner’s Office reported to WISTV Channel 10 recently.
56-year-old Diane Scott was walking along Hardscrabble Road around 10 p.m. the night of August 6 when a pickup truck hit her. The driver, 27-year-old Tres Reep, fled the scene, leaving Scott to die from her injuries. Three hours later, Reep was identified and taken into custody.
The cause of Reep’s negligence has not yet been identified, but at the time of the report the Highway Patrol’s Multi-Disciplinary Accident Investigation Team is actively seeking more information regarding the details of the case.
