17-year-old Paige Houston was riding in the back, middle seat of a friend’s pick-up truck in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 6. At approximately 1 a.m., the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle, slamming into a tree. Houston died, likely from not wearing her seatbelt, authorities say.
