(USGovernment-News.Com, July 18, 2013 ) Oklahoma City, OK – Last Thursday a woman was driving her Ford Mustang home when out of nowhere a pickup truck came flying across the road causing a head-on collision.
An off-duty EMT was nearby and heard the collision then raced to the scene of the accident. He immediately began emergency first aid on the woman, as he did not think she was alive.
While stabilizing the woman’s neck, the off-duty EMT spotted the truck driver standing nearby covered in blood. When the police arrived to the scene, he pointed to the man’s location and he had left the scene. Police later arrested the man at a friend’s house on suspicion of drunk driving.
The woman driving the Mustang was taken to OU Medical Center where she was in critical condition. She suffered a broken jaw, facial fractures, and massive internal damages.
