(USGovernment-News.Com, July 11, 2013 ) Houston, TX – A small community in Houston, Texas is fed up with the poor road conditions they have to traverse through every day. Three months ago residents noticed a hole on Noel Street and called 311 several times to report the problem. By July the hole appeared to be around 7.5 feet deep.
Worker crews came to patch the hole up on July 9th and blamed the issue on a collapsed sewer line although they failed to say why it took so long for the hole to get repaired. Other areas still need work including a portion of Groveton Street which has sunken in creating a two-foot deep ledge.
Road crews are expected to cover up the ledge on Groveton Street and fix other parts of the decaying streets.
