(USGovernment-News.Com, March 08, 2013 ) TULSA, Okla. - On Thursday, a fatal school bus accident occurred south of Wewoka on Oklahoma 56 south. According to The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 19-year-old man was killed when his vehicle hit a Sasakwa school bus.
Investigators claim that the man was traveling southbound on Oklahoma 56 when he swerved to avoid a vehicle that was stopped behind the school bus while students were unloading. However, the man hit the vehicle in front of him and then struck the bus broadside. The man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that no students were injured in the accident.
