(USGovernment-News.Com, October 12, 2012 ) Fort Collins, CO - Tom Metier, senior managing member of Metier Law Firm, LLC, has recently been re-elected to the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association’s (CTLA) board of directors.
The CTLA is the largest specialty bar association in Colorado. It was founded in 1953, and its goals are to protect consumer rights and increase public safety. Metier will serve a two-year term. He has served on the board since 2002 making this his 11th year on the board. CTLA president James Croshal thanked Tom and other elected members for their efforts in promoting safety and protection.
“These are the people who increase public safety for everyone in Colorado,” Croshal said. “They are committed to protecting the 7th Amendment and our right to trial by jury.”
Metier said that he felt honored to serve another term on the CTLA board of directors.
“I am proud to be a part of such a valuable organization dedicated to helping injured people,” Metier said. “These men and women do an excellent job representing victims of injustice, and I’m honored to hold a position in such esteemed company. The CTLA helps people understand their rights during difficult and traumatic situations, and I will do everything I can to encourage these educational opportunities.”
Metier has represented injured victims for over 30 years. He focuses his practice on victims of car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, traumatic brain injuries and wrongful death. In addition to serving on the CTLA board of directors, Metier speaks frequently at legal seminars and teaches lawyers how to hone their trial skills at the Trial Lawyer’s College in Wyoming. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Larimer County Bar Association. “The Best Lawyers in America” named him as a “Super Lawyer” in 2005, and he received the AV Preeminent 5.0 out of 5 rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers
