(USGovernment-News.Com, October 05, 2012 ) MOBILE, Ala. - Alabama’s governor Robert Bentley and Public Safety Director Hugh McCall recently recorded an introduction for a video called "The Last Text”. The purpose of the video is to warn people about the dangers of texting and driving.
The video will be shown in driver education classes across the state. In the video, the Governor warns students not to text and drive. The video also includes commentary from individuals that have been affected by distracted driving accidents.
On August 1, a new law was enacted that bans texting and driving in Alabama.
