U.S. Government using civilian security cameras to spy on citizens reports ZoomVideo.com.au

(USGovernment-News.Com, August 23, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA -- In New York, anybody who points at the security cameras becomes suspicious. The images of these suspicious people captured by civilian CCTV are sent to a firm called the Abraxas’s data center. Then, in order to pinpoint the activity of that person, the system is connected with a chain of cameras.

The details about this system came from the emails that were released by Wikileaks.

This system of cameras is almost the same as in a film “The Bourne Identity”. In this film, the officials of CIA tracked someone around the world using their spy camera network.

Wikileaks released an email in which it was said that the photographs of the faces of the people were encrypted as a first step and then forwarded to a data centre.

U.S. security department uses TapWire to stop the attacks of terrorists as well as to catch the terrorists who are responsible of any incident that has already happened.

From one of the company’s documents, it was revealed that TapWire is a system of software which is unique and predictive. It is designed in such a way that it detects surveillance patterns of every attack individually. In this system, capturing photos, having measurements and signaling are included.

This technology has been used in above five hundred cameras and these cameras are installed in the New York subway. There are also thousands of these cameras installed in high risk areas in many US cities and in London (England) as well.

An employee of Strator (Strator is an intelligence company which is Texas-based and works on TrapWire) said in an email in 2010 that in one week, five hundred cameras were installed in the NYC subway for focusing on surveillance of terrorists. Strator’s president also says that they have many clients other than the NYC Transit Authority; these clients include Scotland Yard and the White House.

TrapWire is a great development and innovation after 9-11, which helps mitigating the terrorist threats.
