Washington State Pastors Announce Political Candidate Forum, streaming live on Experience Church.tv

(USGovernment-News.Com, June 06, 2012 ) Puyallup, WA-- Experience Church.tv is pleased to announce a candidate forum to be hosted on Sunday, June 24th at 6:00pm by Pastors Dennis and Lori Cummins. Candidates have been invited in the Washington State Governor's race and the US Senate race.

The forum will also include a brief statement by candidates for the WA State Attorney General's race.

"This seems to be a new but fresh concept in the State of Washington," said Dennis Cummins.

He continues, "It is time for the Church to open our doors and listen to what our proposed civic leaders believe and plan to do for our great State."

The event is the first of its kind in Washington State, praised for its ability to form a coalition of Pastors and churches, each coming together to reach the entire state via a live online simulcast.

The simulcast will be recorded, and will be available on-demand online as a nonpartisan tool for viewing at churches, group meetings, and individuals. All media outlets are invited to attend.

The candidate forum will include brief opening and closing statements from each of the candidates, and focus on the following eight topics:

- Sanctity of Life

- Sanctity of Marriage

- Separation of Church and State

- Education

- Israel

- Protecting the right of conscience

- Protecting religious freedom

- Principles or politics?

"We are trying to change the unfortunate statistic that less than half of Christians who are registered to vote actually vote and only about 50% of Christians eligible to vote are even registered." Dennis explains.

"We believe it is time for the Church and people of faith to rise up and engage their civic responsibility. The Christian community is a formidable voting bloc, which can impact the outcome of most elections"

The event will be lived streamed on the web at http://www.experiencechurch.tv/ , or on their mobile application for iPhone, iPad, & Android. Search Experience Church.tv in the App Store or Marketplace.
