(MARC) is a community-based, family-centered, advocacy and service system for individuals with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Mobile, Alabama area. This organization was established in 1956 and has an aspiration to improve the quality of life for children and adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. MARC provides needed services for those with disabilities and their families, in collaboration with similar agencies and organizations. The organization strives to educate the public to instill a better understanding of individuals who are living with these types of disabilities. MARC offers many different assistance areas; these services include the following programs:

The Mobile Arc provides training enabling adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn the skills required for obtaining community based employment. The training occurs in a realistic environment and focuses on skills like punctuality, relationships between their peers and supervisors, safety, decision making and stamina. During the course of the training wood products such as garden lattice, chairs, tables, and loveseats are manufactured and other products including flowers, herbs and shrubs are sold.
