(USGovernment-News.Com, June 05, 2012 ) Dothan, AL -- Dedicated to helping those in need throughout the West Cleveland, Ohio area, Walk of Faith Community Center offers a variety of services and programs to help families and individuals enhance their quality of life. As a non-profit faith based charity, Walk of Faith Community Center strives to connect families, individuals and the community with the resources they need. Services available through Walk of Faith are provided to residents of the 44111 and 44135 communities who meet the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG) regardless of their religion, race, age, sex or marital status. Individuals eligible for Walk of Faith’s services can receive assistance through the following programs and services:
Food Pantry: Through partnership with Cleveland Food Bank, Walk of Faith’s food pantry offers dry foods, refrigerated and frozen foods, bakery items, fresh produce and toiletries. The pantry is open every Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm.
Donation Center: Open to the public, the FREE donation center offers a variety of clothes, coats, shoes, socks, bedding, baby items and toys.
Hot Meals Program: Offered during the summer, Walk of Faith provides breakfast on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays through their Hot Meals Program. Breakfast is served from 9am until 10am.
Youth Drop-In Center: The Youth Drop-In Center serves as a safe place for teenagers to help them mature and develop into healthy productive adults. In addition to providing recreational activities, the Drop-In Center offers free refreshments, homework assistance and adult supervision.
In addition to their services and programs, Walk of Faith partners with the Cleveland Food Bank, Hannah’s Socks, Ohio Benefits Bank, Soles 4 Souls and Adventist Community Services to further assist families and individuals in need.
