(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 01, 2011 ) New York, NY -- Video game developer, Capcom, announced their upcoming crossover fighting game, Street Fighter X Tekken. Yoshinori Ono, Capcom producer, confirmed at the San Diego Comic-Con International in 2010 that the video game will be released in 2012 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PS Vita. The official Street Fighter X Tekken release date is set for March 6, 2012.
The Street Fighter X Tekken game features the characters from two of the most popular game franchises, the “Street Fighter” and “Tekken” series. The game is being developed by Capcom, but has involvement involvement with Namco in the licensing of the characters of Tekken. Street Fighter X Tekken has a gameplay that is based on the Street Fighter gaming in 2D. This game includes projectile moves like the Hadouken. Meanwhile, Namco is also creating their own style of gaming on this crossover.

Some of the Street Fighter characters include Ryu, Ken, Guile, Abel, Chun-Li, Cammy, Sagat and Dhalsim, are able to battle it out with Tekken characters Kazuya, Nina, Marduk, King, Bob, Julia and Hwoarang. In Street Fighter X Tekken, these characters may look different but each of them still carries their own signature moves and unique characteristics. This is the game that promises an explosive brawl next year.
