Alcohol Fueled Fight Breaks Out During Calle Ocho, Miami Drug Rehab Responds

(USGovernment-News.Com, March 23, 2017 ) Miami, FL -- The Miami Herald reports a large street fight broke out during a Calle Ocho celebration, drawing the party to an end. Video of the brawl shows an altercation between about a dozen men while others attempted to break up the fight. Only feet away other party goers continued to dance and celebrate as the alcohol-fueled battle carried on. The effects of alcohol on the fighters is clear in the video footage, which was posted to Facebook, due to their staggering and difficulty remaining upright.

Alcohol rehab in Miami is in high demand given the extreme party reputation of the city. Celebrations like Calle Ocho tend to cause alcohol abuse in extremes. Given the lowered inhibitions caused by heavy drinking, Miami Drug Rehab urges stricter alcohol regulations surrounding large scale celebrations.

A representative of Miami Drug Rehab comments,
"While Calle Ocho is always a fun time in Little Havana, when excessive alcohol consumption gets in the way and starts causing issues, it's time for a change. Our laws should not be lax during celebrations in order to prevent these situations- things could have gotten much worse. It's entirely possible to have a good time within reason, but laws and regulations must be in place to protect the public. Authorities throughout Miami need to take the initiative to ensure these changes happen for the sake of public health and safety."
