(USGovernment-News.Com, February 08, 2017 ) Miami, FL -- According to CBS Miami, Miami-Dade county has created the Opioid Addiction Task Force to combat the opioid abuse epidemic affecting the county. Fentanyl related deaths increased nearly 700 percent between 2014 and 2015, leading authorities to seek real solutions. In the first meeting, held at the end of January, authorities across the county gathered to brainstorm plans for combating opioid abuse through legislation, law enforcement, and medical support.
