Brain Injury Resource Center Updated by Lawyer Central

(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 22, 2008 ) New York, NY - Lawyer Central has recently updated its Brain Injury Resource Center, a comprehensive source of legal and medical information about brain damage, brain trauma, mild brain injury, and traumatic brain injury. The Brain Injury Resource Center now features information about the symptoms of minor brain injuries and severe brain injuries, a list and description of the types of common brain injuries, answers to frequently asked brain injury questions, and an overview of the treatments available for brain injuries. A national brain injury news center and official brain injury links are also available on the site.

The Brain Injury Resource Center also now features ten high resolution, professional quality brain injury legal videos that feature real lawyers who specialize in handling brain trauma claims and traumatic brain injury lawsuits. Topics discussed in the videos include concussions, pediatric traumatic brain injury, spinal cord and brain injury, long term care, brain injury rehabilitation, and more. In a video entitled “Brain Injury Accident,” brain injury lawyer Stewart Cohen explains, “The most common cause of a closed brain injury is a fall. The second most [common cause] is an automobile accident. The third category is sports injuries. These closed brain injuries have terrible consequences and they can range from a mild traumatic brain injury all the way to a severe brain injury. They can cause all sorts of cognitive and behavioral problems, including loss of sleep, memory, speech, and behavior, and can fundamentally alter someone’s life. That’s why it’s so important to really understand the early diagnosis and the early treatment to address these issues not only for the brain injury victim, but for the family as well.”
