(EMAILWIRE.COM, July 24, 2008 ) The Hague - ICC-OTP-20080723-MA22-ENG - On 23rd to 25th July, International Criminal Court (ICC) Deputy Prosecutor, Mrs. Fatou Bensouda, will visit Nigeria.
She will attend a judicial colloquium marking the 10th anniversary of the Rome Statute of the ICC in Abuja.
Deputy Prosecutor Bensouda will outline developments in the situations and cases currently before the Court: Northern Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Darfur Sudan and the Central African Republic, as well as other situations under analysis, including Colombia and Afghanistan.
On another recent visit, Mrs. Bensouda attended the Coalition of the International Criminal CourtÂ’s Rome Statute 10th anniversary event in South Africa on July 17th.
