(USGovernment-News.Com, August 28, 2013 ) EAST HARTFORD, CT — At 11:45 p.m. the evening of Saturday, August 24, two young drivers collided on Route 66 at the intersection of Old Mill Road in Middletown. The cause of the crash is yet unknown, although police are certain that the eastbound driver’s vehicle crossed the center line and struck the oncoming vehicle.
Driver negligence in some form is likely at play, but police have requested that any witnesses with details of the crash come forward. Five individuals were severely injured in the crash and are currently recovering at Hartford Hospital.
